We join with you in lifting up Janis, Teresa, Ken, Maile, Jackson, Shannon, Maryam, Billie, Polly, Michael, Cindy, Roy, Raycelle, Susanne, Liz, Cynthia, Doug, Howard, Doris, Clara, Sean, Cort, and all of our family members and loved ones to the throne of grace.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You to intercede for our brothers and sisters. We ask that Your will be done in each of their lives, as Your plans are good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2). Grant them the strength to walk in Your ways and to grow in the knowledge of Your love (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We pray for those who are in need of healing, that You would touch their bodies and restore their health (3 John 1:2). For those facing trials, we ask that You give them patience and endurance, reminding them that You are faithful and will not let them be tempted beyond what they can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).
For those who are unmarried, we pray that they would seek Your will in their relationships, fleeing from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and pursuing godly spouses if it is Your plan for them to marry (Proverbs 18:22). We ask that You would bless and strengthen the marriages among us, that each husband would love his wife as Christ loves the church, and that each wife would respect her husband (Ephesians 5:25, 33).
We rebuke any relationships that are not in line with Your Word, Lord. We pray that You would turn the hearts of those who may be involved in relationships that do not honor You, whether it be living together outside of marriage, engaging in sexual immorality, or pursuing same-sex relationships (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Help them to see the truth in Your Word and to turn away from sin.
Lord, we ask that You would be with each one of us, guiding us and filling us with Your Holy Spirit. Help us to live lives that are pleasing to You, that we may be a light to the world (Philippians 2:15).
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear ones, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Trust that God is working in the lives of each person mentioned, and that His will is being accomplished.
