Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for Your boundless grace and love. As Your Word says in Psalm 145:18, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." We know that You are near to us now as we lift up this prayer request.
Lord, we thank You for sustaining our dear brother or sister in Christ, who acknowledges that it is by Your grace they are still alive and in fellowship with You. We are reminded of Your promise in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lordβs great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
Father, we pray for physical, mental, cognitive, spiritual, and financial health. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in Your healing power. As it says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul."
We lift up the new living arrangements at the adult assisted living facility. Lord, grant peace and comfort as adjustments are made. Help our dear friend and their beloved dog to find comfort and companionship in their new home. Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that You will provide for all their needs.
We also pray for family members, close and distant, co-residents and their families, friends, acquaintances, loved ones, former coworkers, bosses, and all those whom the Holy Spirit places on our hearts. You know every situation and need, Lord. We ask that Your will be done in each of their lives, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths."
Specifically, we pray for Cynthia's salvation and for Your guidance and support through her struggles. May she come to know You intimately and experience Your transformative love. As it is written in Romans 10:9, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
