Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We come together in prayer for our dear friend who is facing challenges in adapting to a new way of life. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has had to move out of their home and is now living in an assisted adult facility. We ask for Your divine comfort and peace to surround them during this time of transition.
Heavenly Father, we pray for strength and healing for our friend who is experiencing weakness, balance and stability issues, and memory concerns. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body and mind. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done in their life. Help them to trust in Your perfect plan and to find peace in knowing that You are in control. As it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Grant them the grace to accept Your will, even when it is difficult to understand. Strengthen their faith and help them to lean on You for support. As Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
