Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please pray for me. I won’t lie to you. I’m not doing good at all. I want to serve the Lord, the desire is there. Unfortunately the ability seems to be hung up somewhere and for all intents and purposes I am stuck in neutral. Ask God to lead me to the right type of people, fellow believers, those who are Born Again. Please pray for my physical and mental health issues. I’m falling apart. I don’t know where to begin: Dental, eyes, rash, I might have Pink Eye, my knees are bad, I have headaches (possibly due to the countless concussions I’ve suffered). I need to lose at least 70 pounds, I’m out of shape and don’t exercise, and my shoulder is killing me. I injured my shoulder about a year ago and for about the last six or seven months I’ve experienced what they call chronic pain. Oh, and I’m also afraid I’ve contracted some sort of cancer. Then we have the paranoia, depression, social anxiety disorders, fits of rage and anger, and an inability to trust folks. I need our Heavenly Father’s help with my job. I don’t like the work I do, but for now it’s the only job I can find. Ask Him to help me to do a much better job than I’ve done in the past. If it is His Will ask Him to open up the doors and allow me to return to the profession I so very foolishly turned my back on about 12 years ago. I burned too many bridges that time. Only God can restore the damage done. Ask Him to help me to straighten out my financial issues, to help me sleep better, and lead me to a good fellowship or at least a Bible Study where I can fellowship with other believers. I haven’t been to a church service in years. I’m too ashamed of my past to go back. Ask God to help me restore the damaged and ignored relationships with members of my family, especially with my daughter, son, and dad. Let’s just say I’ve been a terrible son when it comes to dealing with dad. I’ve been a worse father when it comes to dealing with my children. It’s time to mend some more fences. I can only do it with God’s help. While we’re on the subject of family, please pray for my mom, dad, son, daughter, half-daughter, grand-daughter, sister and brother-in-law, nephews, cousins, aunt and uncle, stepmom, ex-stepmom, half-brothers, ex-wives, former step-children, and the endless list of distant relatives who all need your prayers. Please pray for Reni who just lost her husband in a motorcycle accident. Lift Chris up in prayer. He’s a former high school drug-dealer and a recovering addict as well. Ask God to help me to be far more tolerant and nice to people I deal with. I guess I’m far too judgmental and have a terrible habit of saying the wrong thing at the right time. I’m far too opinionated and often neglect to think about other’s feelings. Help me also to deal with those folks who cannot accept God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, or the Bible, yet believe in every lie and conspiracy that crosses their computer screen, newspaper page, or TV. They follow Wicca, or some Supernatural New Age belief system. They consult Tarot Card Readers, Practitioners of Astrology and Numerology, Mediums, Clairvoyance and Soothsayers, Prognosticators, and Followers of countless Mythological Deities. They believe in UFOs and Extra-Terrestrials, every conspiracy theory they hear, and every outright lie that hits the streets. Ask God to help me to communicate with these folks without losing it and labeling them nothing but fools. Please pray for David, his employees, his family, his acquaintances, and his gambling buddies who at the drop of a hat will make convincing veiled threats against anyone who disagrees with the way they choose to bend the rules and break the laws to benefit themselves. These same folks will spread vicious and damaging lies, along with ugly rumors to make themselves look like upstanding pillars of the community while destroying the lives of anyone who doesn’t see eye to eye with their lack of morals and outright illegal business and personal practices. Ask God to cause them all to repent and start fixing things in our community instead of tearing things down to get things to go their way. Please pray for Leighanne who has some serious financial needs as a result of the stroke she is recovering from. Pray for Liz. This kid has been the guest of the California Department of Corrections for well over a year (probably closer to over two years) and has about eight months left on her sentence. Neither Liz, her mom, or her siblings have dealt well with her incarceration. Ask God to help all of them. Please pray for Sharon and her family. She’s facing some questionable criminal charges. Ask our Heavenly Father to help her and her family through this ordeal. Keep praying for Kelly. He almost killed himself in a quad accident. I haven’t heard how well he’s recovering. I haven’t heard any bad news concerning him. Pray for his family too. Pray for our elected officials at all levels of government (federal, state, county, local; and the overseas or foreign equivalents too). Ask God to help them to make the right decisions to benefit mankind. Pray also for those who serve and protect us, also at the local, county, state, and federal levels, plus the foreign or overseas counterparts, including police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers. Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I’m talking about the members of our armed forces like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts. Pray for Farhan, his congregation, and his family. All of these folks work, worship, and live in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim part of the world. They face constant persecution. They need our prayers. Pray for Kathleen and her kids. This family lost a husband and a father to cancer. She needs a place to live too. Pray for Elizabeth who has some serious financial needs and is attempting to raise a couple of autistic kids on her own. Pray for Mary, Twana, and Sharaz. Ask God to help them to do a better job at work. Pray for Bradley who was a common thief, a drug dealer, and an addict. Ask God to help him stay clean and sober, and to make restitution when possible. Pray for Virginia, who has been borrowing, begging, and stealing large amounts of money, and many valuable belongings from her family, friends, and a business she recently sold. Ask God to help her to make things right. Also ask God to help her restore the damaged family relationships her stealing, along with her abuse of drugs and alcohol have caused. Please pray for Bobby, Phil, Darryl, Karen, Barry, Oden, and any other Born Again Christian musician that might feel let to participate in a revival in my community. Pray for the families and friends of Mike, Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses. Pray for Bridgette’s health. She’s working herself to death and doesn’t seem to notice the damage to her health. She suffers from migraines, and regularly has to go in for medical treatment for lung infections and countless other issues while trying to run a small preschool. I think it’s going to kill her. She needs God’s help. Pray for Eddie and his wife who recently had to close the doors to their local business. Ask God to help this retired and decorated military veteran to prosper in his new profession. Pray for those folks living in and around Ukraine. They all need our prayers Pray for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide. Pray for a full and complete recovery of that community. Pray for those folks who survived the southern California fires. Pray for the folks who helped with the rescue and recovery operations in California, Ukraine, and Washington too. Please pray for the following folks, plus their loved ones. God knows the situations.
