Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Let me just say thank you so much for your continued prayers. As I mentioned the other day it was only through the Grace of God that I was able to complete my court-ordered 30 days of house arrest/community service/work-crew. With my bad shoulder, being a bit overweight, and really out of shape there is no other way I could have completed the tasks (including keeping up with kids that are 30-years my junior) set before me by the supervisor of the crew unless God gave me the strength, determination, and endurance to perform the manual labor required of me (I’ve been a desk jockey far too long). I would ask that you continue to pray for me, that God would heal my injured shoulder, that He would heal my teeth, help me to get back into good physical shape, and that He help me to safely lose about 60 pounds. I would also ask you to pray that I would continue doing an exceptional job at work and that He would help me with my finances.
I would also ask that you pray for the idea He gave me involving Phil, Karen, Barry, Oden, Darrell and several other musicians to come together for a revival in my community.
Please pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation. As I mentioned earlier, these folks are facing daily persecution as they live, work, and worship in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim country.
Pray too for Kathleen and her children. She’s a sweet lady who recently lost her husband to cancer. She also needs a new place to live. Her kids, well, they lost their dad to cancer. I’m sure they could use an extra strong dose of God’s Love.
Pray for Liz, her mom, and her brother and sisters. Liz is in prison and will be for another 10 months or so. Naturally it’s been really tough on her (she’s just a kid) and her mom. For what it’s worth nobody in that family is dealing all that well with their sister’s incarceration. Pray that God’s Will would be done in all of their lives and that He watch over her and keep her from any harm.
Please pray for Leighanne. This lady recently suffered a fairly serious stroke and is experiencing money issues as well. I can’t imagine the issues she is dealing with now. Please ask that His Will be done in her live as well.
Pray for the folks in Ukraine. Pray for the folks in Oso, Washington too.
Pray for those who are serving and protecting, not only here in the states, but overseas as well. I’m talking about those folks in law enforcement (local, county, parish, state, province, federal, and international). Pray for their families, the retirees, and those who are going into the field. I ask the same for firemen, firefighters, EMTs/EMS/ paramedics, and the countless volunteers who risk it all to keep us safe. Pray for those in uniform as too. I’m talking the National Guard, Reservists, Veterans, Retirees, their families, and those who are currently in the Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast, Guard, and Navy. They all need God’s protection and love. Many of them need salvation too.
Please pray for the following folks, plus their families. These are the names of people I have come across through work, and that have come to mind while in prayer. Some I know personally, most only in passing. What I do know is God can work miracles in all of their lives.
