Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I'm at a loss and I don't know what to do. I've been out of work and seeking employment for a long time now. I'm out of shape, overweight, have a drinking problem, take care of my frail elderly mom, and suffer from constant pain in my hip and knee. Please pray for me. Please ask God to open some doors so He can help me out of this mess. Please ask Him to keep my truck running safely and reliably, and pray for my dog too. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.

I have been a heavy drinker in the past. I stopped when I had my son who is 16 now. Looking back I can see that regular counseling is important. B vitamin supplements are important for stress nerves etc. Things like fish oil or flax oil can help. I wouldn't do it without outside support. It's important to get new friends. The old friends will be wanting to drink with you. They won't care about recovery. Praying helps but getting in a good church is good. However many Christ followers are judgemental so don't expect anything. Some are loving but some will look at it in shock.

God I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with the desires of my heart that is the will of God for my life and the lives of those I pray for. God heal me totally in all areas of my life. God place Your angels all around me to cover and protect me from all sickness, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of my enemies, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God deal with all my enemies according to Your Word. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, care about, and all those who love and care about me. And God please bless each of us with the desire, love, strength, and spirit of obedience to always obey Your Word and Will for each of our lives.
