Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I urge you to continue praying for me. My life seems to be like a roller coaster. One day I’m doing fine, the next I’m afraid I’m going to crash and burn. I’m all over the place. My physical health isn’t was it could or should be (I’m out of shape and I rarely exercise, 70 pounds overweight, need a lot of dental work, need glasses, my knees hurt, I’ve suffered too many concussions, my neck hurts, I’ve got a rash that won’t seem to go away, I’m afraid I’ve got some form of cancer, and due to a shoulder injury last year I’m in chronic pain). Mentally I’m a smorgasbord or psychological maladies (paranoia, anxiety, trust, etc., etc., etc.). I’m counting on your prayers and our Heavenly Father to perform a miracle here. Please pray for my dogs too, that God would watch over, keep them comfortable, and protect them. Please ask God to open some doors so I can find my way back to working in the profession I should have never left about 12 years ago. Please ask God to help me restore the long ignored relationships with my family. Pray also for my dad, mom, son, daughter, granddaughter, cousins, uncle and aunt, half-brothers, half-daughter, step-mom, former step-mom, ex-wives, and countless distant relatives. Most of these folks would rather believe is psychics and prognosticators, fortune tellers, Tarot card readers, Astrology, Numerology, New Age spiritualists, reincarnation and transmigration, alien abductions, some sort of global/economic restructuring of the world’s monetary system, UFOs and extra-terrestrials, fairy tales and outright cults than believe for a second that God not only Loves us, but Loves us so much he sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for us in order to pay for our sins. Please pray for Kelly who almost killed himself in a quad accident the other day. Pray for his doctors and his family as well. Pray also for Dosha who is recovering from surgery, the little girl Izzy who broke her ankle after falling off of a scooter, and for Leighanne who is having serious financial issues as the result of her recent stroke. Pray too for Farhan, his family, and his congregation. These folks live in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim country. They face the threat of serious persecution on a daily basis. Please lift Elizabeth up in prayer. She is in serious financial trouble and is also attempting to raise two autistic kids on her own. Pray for Liz too. This child has been in prison for over a year, has about eight-months left on her sentence. The entire ordeal has been rough on her, but has been exceedingly tough on her mother and her siblings. Pray for the entire family. Pray for Kathleen and her children. She needs a new place to live, plus she recently lost her husband to cancer. Her kids lost their dad. Pray for the families and friends of Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses. Pray for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide. Pray for those assisting in the rescue and recovery operations as well. Pray for those folks living in and around the areas of the wildfires in southern California. Pray for those souls fighting the fires too. Pray for Bobbie, Phil, Darrel, Karen, Oden, Barry, and any other musician that might find themselves led by God to participate in a revival in my community. Pray for Twana, Mary, and Sharaz and ask God to help them to do a better job a work so they can keep their jobs. Pray for those who serve and protect us. They may or may not be wearing a uniform (they probably do). I’m speaking of those folks who work in law enforcement as police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray too for those who work as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers; and members of our military services like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts. And let’s not forget to pray for those living in and around Ukraine. Pray for Brad, a recovering drug addict and a thief. Ask God to help him to stay clean and sober, to find a good job so he doesn’t have to steal as a way to make a living, and help him to make amends with those he owes repayment to. Pray for Bridgette who is attempting to keep her small business, a preschool up and running. She’s having a tough time of it. Pray for Eddie and his wife who had to recently shut down their local business. Please pray for Virginia who has been begging, borrowing, and stealing tidy sums of cash and other belongings from folks. Ask God to help her to make things right. Pray for the following folks and their families. God knows the situations.
