Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I am in so much need of prayer. I’m dead in the water with my mind filling with doubts about my faith, my walk, and just about every aspect of my life. I’m not that old, yet I feel and act like a feeble old man. I’m out of shape and overweight by at least 70 pounds, I rarely exercise and I eat poorly. My knees are bad, I need a considerable amount of dental work done, I could definitely use a pair of bifocals, I’ve got an irritating rash on my chest and abdomen, I suffer from chronic shoulder pain, I live in fear of getting cancer, I’m paranoid, I have suffered from too many concussions, I have fits of anger (which I’m having a more difficult time controlling each and every day), I apparently suffer from a number of social anxiety disorders, I feel as if my life has been nothing more than a great big waste, and I honestly need to find a church and/or Bible Study to attend so I can spend time with other believers. I also could use some help with my finances and my job. In fact please pray that God would open some doors so I can get back into the profession I so foolishly walked away from about 12 years ago. Looking back I wish I had never told my publisher the things I told her. I would love to be back working as a reporter and photographer. I truly regret burning those bridges.
Pray for Chris. He’s former high school drug dealer and recovering addict.
Pray for Izzy and her family. She’s a little girl who fell off of her scooter and broke her ankle.
Ask God to help me to restore the neglected and ignored family relationships that I’ve allowed to remain in such a sorry state of disrepair for all these years, especially those being the one’s with my daughter, my dad, and my son. I have been a terrible father, and didn’t do much better as a son to my dad. While we’re on the subject of family, please pray for my dad, mom, daughter, son, granddaughter, half-daughter, step-mom, former step-mom, cousins, aunt and uncle, nephews, sister and brother-in-law, ex-wives and step-children, half-brothers, and the countless distant relatives I am slowly beginning to remember. I don’t know where they stand with God. Please ask that His Will be done in their lives.
Please ask God to help me to be a bit more tolerant with people. I guess I’m far too judgmental and have a bad habit of saying the wrong (or right) thing at the right (or wrong) time. I’ve too opinionated and sometimes forget about other people’s feelings. On that subject ask God to help me deal with folks who have no problem believing in such things as Wicca, Reincarnation and Transmigration, Supernatural and Mythical Celestial Beings, Tarot Cards, Numerology, Astrology, UFOs and Extra-Terrestrials, Cultic and other outlandish belief systems, and those who qualify as Conspiracy Theorists. Ask God to help me talk with these folks without discounting them as complete fools. Ask God to help me to have compassion for them and to remember to hold them up in prayer.
Pray for folks like David, his family, his employees and associates, and his Texas Hold’em playing friends who seem to take great pleasure in making veiled threats against anyone who doesn’t agree with the way they do conduct their more than questionable business activities, and who enjoy spreading damaging and vicious lies and ugly rumors about those same folks who don’t see eye to eye with their methods of operation or anyone who doesn’t really want to turn their back on the outright illegal things they do. Ask God to cause them to repent and fix the damage they’ve done over the past couple of years.
Pray for Dosha who seems to be recovering from her surgery from a week or so ago. Pray for her family as well.
Pray for Leighanne who is recovering from a stroke and needs financial assistance too.
Pray for Liz and her family. This child has been a guest of the California Department of Corrections for well over a year and has at least nine more months to go on her sentence. Neither she, her siblings, or her mom have been dealing well with her lengthy incarceration. Pray for all of them.
Pray for Kelly. He’s out of the woods, but still has a bit of recovering to do as a result of his near fatal quad accident.
Pray for our elected officials at all levels of government (local, county, state, and federal; plus their foreign and overseas counterparts). Ask God to help them make all the right decisions. Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I’m talking about the members of our armed forces like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts; and I the folks in law enforcement including police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers.
Pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation as these folks like, work, and worship in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim country where they do indeed face serious persecution.
Pray for Elizabeth who not only needs financial help, but is raising two kids suffering who are autistic.
Pray for Kathleen and her children. These folks lost a husband and a father to cancer. Kathleen needs a new place to live as well.
Pray for Sharaz, Mary, and Twana and ask the Lord to assist them to keep their jobs by improving their quality of customer service. Ask God to help me to do a better job here too.
Pray for Virginia who has not only managed to alienate herself from most of her family, she’s been begging, borrowing, and stealing substantial sums of cash and other belonging from family, friends, and the business she recently sold. Ask God to help her to decide to make things right and at least attempt to make restitution.
Pray for Bobbie, Phil, Darrel, Karen, Oden, Barry, and any other musician that will hopefully feel led by God to take part in a much needed revival in my community.
Pray for the families and friends of Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses.
Pray for Bradley who is a common thief and recovering drug addict. He needs God’s help in staying clean and sober, in finding a job, and in making amends with folks he has hurt or stolen from.
Pray for Bridgette who is working way too hard all by herself in an effort to keep her small preschool going. She’s doing a good job, but I fear it’s killing her.
Pray for Eddie and his wife. They had to shut down their local business. He has a new job now. Ask God to help this retired US Military Veteran to prosper in his new field of endeavor.
Pray for those folks living in and around Ukraine; for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide and those involved in the rescue and recovery operations, and the folks in and around the wildfires in Southern California.
Pray for the following folks, plus their loved ones. God knows the situations. Pray for Izzy and her family. She’s a little girl who fell off of her scooter and broke her ankle.
Ask God to help me to restore the neglected and ignored family relationships that I’ve allowed to remain in such a sorry state of disrepair for all these years, especially those being the one’s with my daughter, my dad, and my son. I have been a terrible father, and didn’t do much better as a son to my dad. While we’re on the subject of family, please pray for my dad, mom, daughter, son, granddaughter, half-daughter, step-mom, former step-mom, cousins, aunt and uncle, nephews, sister and brother-in-law, ex-wives and step-children, half-brothers, and the countless distant relatives I am slowly beginning to remember. I don’t know where they stand with God. Please ask that His Will be done in their lives.
Please ask God to help me to be a bit more tolerant with people. I guess I’m far too judgmental and have a bad habit of saying the wrong (or right) thing at the right (or wrong) time. I’ve too opinionated and sometimes forget about other people’s feelings. On that subject ask God to help me deal with folks who have no problem believing in such things as Wicca, Reincarnation and Transmigration, Supernatural and Mythical Celestial Beings, Tarot Cards, Numerology, Astrology, UFOs and Extra-Terrestrials, Cultic and other outlandish belief systems, and those who qualify as Conspiracy Theorists. Ask God to help me talk with these folks without discounting them as complete fools. Ask God to help me to have compassion for them and to remember to hold them up in prayer.
Pray for folks like David, his family, his employees and associates, and his Texas Hold’em playing friends who seem to take great pleasure in making veiled threats against anyone who doesn’t agree with the way they do conduct their more than questionable business activities, and who enjoy spreading damaging and vicious lies and ugly rumors about those same folks who don’t see eye to eye with their methods of operation or anyone who doesn’t really want to turn their back on the outright illegal things they do. Ask God to cause them to repent and fix the damage they’ve done over the past couple of years.
Pray for Dosha who seems to be recovering from her surgery from a week or so ago. Pray for her family as well.
Pray for Leighanne who is recovering from a stroke and needs financial assistance too.
Pray for Liz and her family. This child has been a guest of the California Department of Corrections for well over a year and has at least nine more months to go on her sentence. Neither she, her siblings, or her mom have been dealing well with her lengthy incarceration. Pray for all of them.
Pray for Kelly. He’s out of the woods, but still has a bit of recovering to do as a result of his near fatal quad accident.
Pray for our elected officials at all levels of government (local, county, state, and federal; plus their foreign and overseas counterparts). Ask God to help them make all the right decisions. Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I’m talking about the members of our armed forces like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts; and I the folks in law enforcement including police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers.
Pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation as these folks like, work, and worship in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim country where they do indeed face serious persecution.
Pray for Elizabeth who not only needs financial help, but is raising two kids suffering who are autistic.
Pray for Kathleen and her children. These folks lost a husband and a father to cancer. Kathleen needs a new place to live as well.
Pray for Sharaz, Mary, and Twana and ask the Lord to assist them to keep their jobs by improving their quality of customer service. Ask God to help me to do a better job here too.
Pray for Virginia who has not only managed to alienate herself from most of her family, she’s been begging, borrowing, and stealing substantial sums of cash and other belonging from family, friends, and the business she recently sold. Ask God to help her to decide to make things right and at least attempt to make restitution.
Pray for Bobbie, Phil, Darrel, Karen, Oden, Barry, and any other musician that will hopefully feel led by God to take part in a much needed revival in my community.
Pray for the families and friends of Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses.
Pray for Bradley who is a common thief and recovering drug addict. He needs God’s help in staying clean and sober, in finding a job, and in making amends with folks he has hurt or stolen from.
Pray for Bridgette who is working way too hard all by herself in an effort to keep her small preschool going. She’s doing a good job, but I fear it’s killing her.
Pray for Eddie and his wife. They had to shut down their local business. He has a new job now. Ask God to help this retired US Military Veteran to prosper in his new field of endeavor.
Pray for those folks living in and around Ukraine; for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide and those involved in the rescue and recovery operations, and the folks in and around the wildfires in Southern California.
