Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. First of all, here are a few praise reports: Dosha is recovering nicely after her surgery, and Kelly who almost killed himself when he ran into a chain on his quad awake and able to talk. Please continue praying for both of these folks and their families as well. Ask that God’s Will be done in their lives.

Please pray for me. There are times when I feel like no matter what I do, or how hard I try, the whole of my life amounts to nothing more than a complete and utter failure. Throughout my life I’ve started so many projects including schools and specialized training, jobs and careers, projects with boats and cars, hobbies which included woodworking and photography, and what do I have to show for it? I have nothing more than an endless list of excuses and unfinished business.

I would also ask that you pray for my health concerns, especially my shoulder. I injured it almost a year ago and over the past six-months of so the pain has been increasing to the point where I can’t use my left arm for much of anything. It’s keeping me from sleeping, and quite honestly, it’s causing me to be very intolerant of many things that never used to bother me. Now I do go in for an MRI on Thursday. Pray that it will give the docs a clue as to what is wrong and how they can fix it.

Pray also for my eyes, teeth, neck, knees, my brain (too many concussions), the rash on my chest, and the fact that I’m far too out of shape and need to lose about 70 pounds. Pray for my mental state as well. I’m paranoid, I have growing fears that I’ve got cancer or some other deadly disease, I’m having anger management issues, I don’t like dealing with people, and I’m beginning to feel I should become a hermit and hide myself from society.

Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I mean those folks working in law enforcement, police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers; and please don’t forget the members of our military services like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts. Oh, and let’s not forget about our elected offices working from the federal, state, county, and local levels (and those working in similar posts overseas). Ask God to protect them and guide them into making the proper decisions.

Please pray for David, his family, his gambling and gaming friends, plus his employees who all feel it’s just fine to spread vicious and ugly rumors and tell damaging lies about anyone who doesn’t agree with the way they do things, and appear to take great pleasure in intimidating anyone they don’t see eye to eye with by making veiled threats. Please ask God to cause them to repent from their deceitful, illegal, and coercive ways of doing business and instead start rebuilding the damage they’ve all done.

Changing gears here, please ask our Heavenly Father to help me to do a better job at work with each shift. Ask Him to also open up some doors so that I can go back to working as a reporter and photographer with the small weekly paper I so foolishly turned my back on about 12 years ago. I burned a number of bridges when I left. Please ask God to help me fix those bridges and allow me to go back to the paper.

Pray for Liz, her mom, and her siblings. The poor kid has been living in the grey-bar for well over a year and apparently has to do a total of three years before she sees the light of day. She’s not the only one doing time here. Her mom, brother and sisters are having a very difficult time dealing with sis being incarcerated.

Pray extra hard for Farhan, his congregation, and his family. These folks face daily persecution as they live, worship, and work in a war-torn country that is predominantly Muslim.

Ask the Lord to help me heal and restore the relationships with family members who I have not only neglected, but in some cases completely ignored, especially with my daughter and dad. While we’re on the subject of family pray for my mom, dad, step-mom, former-step mom, cousins, aunt and uncle, nephews, ex-wives, son, daughter, half-brothers, sister and brother-in-law, half-daughter, former step-children, and the countless distant relatives. Ask that His Will be done in all of their lives.

Pray for Leighanne who is recovering from a stroke. She’s having financial issues too since she still cannot work.

Pray for Elizabeth who is also having money issues. She is also attempting to raise two autistic boys.

Pray for the folks I know, the folks I deal with on a daily basis, and the folks I hear about who cannot seem to comprehend the fact that our Heavenly Father saw fit to sacrifice His only Begotten Son to die on a Cross so that I (we) can have Everlasting Life (through Jesus) and yet they have no problem what-so-ever believing the countless and endless conspiracy theories, and seeking help from mystics and fortune tellers, bogus deities, astrologers, numerologists, tarot card readers, and anyone who claims to know the truth, including those who believe in things such as reincarnation and transmigration, UFOs and extra-terrestrials, alien abductions, Wicca, countless spiritualists, and mythology. Pray that I wouldn’t be so short with these folks too.

Pray for the little girl Izzy who is recovering from a broken ankle. Pray for her family members too.

Please pray for Kathleen and her kids. Although it was a while ago, she lost her husband, they lost their dad to cancer. She is looking for a new place to live. Her husband was apparently a retired veteran of the US Army.

Pray for Twana, Mary, and Sharaz and ask God to help them to do a better job a work so they can keep their jobs. Ask God to help me to do a better job too.

Please pray for Virginia who has been begging, borrowing, and stealing tidy sums of cash and other belongings from folks. Ask God to help her to make things right.

Pray for Bobbie, Phil, Darrel, Karen, Oden, Barry, and any other musician that will hopefully feel led by God to take part in a much needed revival in my community.

Pray for the families and friends of Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses.

Pray for Brad, a recovering drug addict and a thief. Ask God to help him to stay clean and sober, to find a good job so he doesn’t have to steal as a way to make a living, and help him to make amends with those he owes repayment to.

Pray for Eddie and his wife who had to recently shut down their local business.

Pray for Bridgette who is attempting to keep her small business, a preschool up and running. She’s having a tough time of it.

Pray for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide. Pray for those assisting in the rescue and recovery operations as well.

Pray for those folks living in and around the areas of the wildfires in southern California. Pray for those souls fighting the fires too.

And let’s not forget to pray for those living in and around Ukraine.

Please pray for Chris who is a recovering addict and former dealer.
