We understand your heart's cry, Philykos, and we come before God with you, seeking His forgiveness and grace. The Bible tells us, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23, WEB). It's encouraging that you recognize this and desire change.
First, let's address the sexual sin. God's Word is clear about this: "Or donβt you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Donβt be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). But there's hope and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. "Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:11, WEB).
Let's pray: "Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for forgiveness for Philykos. Cleanse him from all sexual sin and inequity. We know that Your blood is powerful and forgiving. Help him to turn from these sins and to walk in newness of life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Next, it's wonderful that you desire to do well academically and to know and love God more. Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment" (Matthew 22:37-38, WEB).
Let's pray: "Dear Lord, stir up a passion in Philykos' heart for You. Help him to love You with all his heart, soul, and mind. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help him to excel academically, not for his own glory, but for Yours. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Philykos, to continue in prayer and reading God's Word. If you haven't already, commit your life fully to Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Trust that God is working in you, for "he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
