Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your infinite wisdom and love. We lift up our dear brother, ###, who is struggling to find rest and sleep. Your Word tells us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We ask that You grant ### this peace that surpasses all understanding, allowing him to rest securely in Your loving arms.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s back. Relieve the pain and discomfort that is preventing restful sleep. Your Word in Matthew 11:28 invites us to come to You when we are weary and burdened, and You will give us rest. We claim this promise for ### right now, believing that You will provide the rest he so desperately needs.
Father, we also ask for Your guidance and wisdom for ###. If there are any underlying issues or habits that are contributing to this sleeplessness, we pray that You reveal them and provide the means to address them. Help ### to cast all anxieties and cares upon You, as 1 Peter 5:7 instructs, knowing that You care deeply for him.
We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, Lord. We pray that ### will experience Your peace and fall into a deep, restorative sleep. May he wake up refreshed and ready to face the new day with strength and joy that comes from You.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
