We understand that you're going through a challenging time, dealing with people who cause you anxiety and worry. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, (Psalm 46:1-2 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 46:2 Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; WEB).
In the Bible, we are encouraged not to anxiety or worry about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7, 4:6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. WEB).
We must also remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, 1:7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. WEB).
It's important to address the absence of the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. The Bible reminds us that it is only by His name we can have access to God. This is highlighted in Acts 4:12, 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! WEB and John 14:6, 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with anxiety and worry due to interactions with certain people. We pray that You will protect them from any spiritual, psychological, or mental attacks. We ask for Your peace that transcends all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask for guidance on how to handle these situations and for the strength to face each day with courage and confidence in You.
We also pray that You will reveal Yourself to them more deeply, that they may know the power of the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You will draw them closer to You, and that they will find rest and comfort in Your presence.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, consider limiting or avoid contact with these individuals. If they are not believers, then their spirits are not controlled by the Holy Spirit and can cause trouble for you. Spirits can influence each other and if they do not have the Holy Spirit, they can influence you with ungodly spirits. You should consider discussing this with your Pastor or spiritual advisor to find out if there is something they can advise to remedy the situation.
