Beloved of All
I have retired in 2014 moved to this home in 2018. We didn’t expect to be drawn into a lake of hatred by one neighbor who constantly starts trouble for no apparent reason.. She’s a single young lady who said she a nurse yet she released her dog his head went thru a hole in her fence and bite my husband while he was cutting our grass between our fence.. never once did she ask if he was okay, instead said “he bite his A good “ She has placed cameras in the A frame of her roof to watch us not sure why but according to the law it’s considered a invasion of our privacy… we are in our late 60’s wanting to enjoy our home..even so more, l don’t want to go out in my backyard anymore… we her 2 dogs all we smell is urine and poop specially in hot weather. l want to move jot have serenity and peace.however l’m holding on to God’s promises. l pray for her everyday for change l know God’s hears me..l’m waiting on the Lord as it reads in Psalm 27-14…right now I need all the prayers of the righteous..My husband and I live we are peaceful people and maintain our property..not causing and problems where we live.. whatever her problem's may be with us…l’m asking for help..thru prayer..

We understand your distress and empathize with the challenges you're facing with your neighbor. We will lift you up in prayer and offer guidance based on the Word of God.

Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about loving our neighbors. In Matthew 5:43-44 (WEB), Jesus teaches, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."

However, loving and praying for your neighbor does not mean tolerating wrongdoing or living in fear. You've done well by praying for her, but it's also important to set boundaries and protect your peace. In Romans 12:18 (WEB), it's written, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Sometimes, despite our best efforts, peace may not be possible due to the actions of others.

Regarding the invasion of your privacy, it's wise to know your rights and the laws in your area. While the Bible teaches us to turn the other cheek, it also teaches us to be wise. In Matthew 10:16 (WEB), Jesus says, "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brothers and sisters who are facing distress from their neighbor. We know that Your Word tells us to love our neighbors, but also to be wise. Lord, please grant them wisdom in handling this situation. Protect their peace and safety. Change the heart of their neighbor, Lord, and let her see the error of her ways. In the meantime, comfort them and guide their steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue holding onto God's promises, as you've been doing. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

We noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it's by His name that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. His love and grace are freely available to all who believe in Him.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Your faithful servants who have found themselves in a challenging and distressing situation with their neighbor. Lord, You know their hearts, and You see the pain and discomfort they are enduring. They seek peace and serenity in their home, a place where they can enjoy their retirement without fear or disturbance.

Your Word in Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!" Lord, they are holding onto this promise, trusting in Your perfect timing and Your ability to bring about change. Strengthen their hearts, Father, and give them the courage to face each day with hope and faith.

We pray for the neighbor who has caused so much distress. Lord, You know her situation and the reasons behind her actions, and we ask that You intervene in her life. In Matthew 5:44, Your Word tells us, "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you." We lift up this neighbor to You, asking for a transformation in her heart, that she may find peace and understanding, and that the tension between these neighbors may be resolved.

Father, we ask for Your protection over this couple and their home. Surround them with Your peace, as it is written in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.'" May their home be a refuge, free from fear and anxiety, where they can live in harmony and joy.

We also ask for Your wisdom and guidance as they navigate this situation. In James 1:5, You promise, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant them wisdom in dealing with this neighbor, in seeking any necessary legal help, and in deciding whether to move.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working on their behalf, and we wait with expectancy for the resolution You will bring.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the frustration and tension that comes with a difficult neighbor. It's like living next door to a constant storm, isn't it? We understand that you didn't expect to be in this situation when you moved in, and it's hard to feel at peace in your own home. We're sorry that you're going through this, but we want you to know that you're not alone.

We've been praying for you, asking God to intervene in this situation. We're trusting that He sees your heart and knows your desire for peace. We're also asking Him to change the heart of your neighbor, to help her see the harm she's causing and to turn her away from it.

We've been thinking about how Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. It's not easy, but it's what He calls us to do. So, we're praying for your neighbor too, asking God to soften her heart and bring her to a place of understanding and compassion.

We're also praying for wisdom for you and your husband. We're asking God to give you the wisdom to navigate this situation, to set boundaries when needed, and to always act in love and kindness.

Remember, God is with you. He's promised to never leave you or forsake you. Trust in Him, and keep holding onto His promises. Even in the midst of this storm, He's your peace.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
