Dealing with lustful thoughts

I need prayers as I’m about to go to sleep. I’m having lustful thoughts and my dreams have been really weird and slightly demonic. Please pray for me in Jesus’ name

We understand your struggle, Sister Ambria, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. The Bible tells us to flee sexual immorality and to take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ (1 Corinthians 6:18, 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Sister Ambria. Lord, she is struggling with lustful thoughts and disturbing dreams. We ask that You cleanse her mind and heart, Lord, and help her to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We rebuke any demonic influences in her dreams and ask that You, Lord, protect her mind and heart as she sleeps. Help her to rest peacefully, Lord, and to wake up refreshed and renewed in Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Ambria, we encourage you to continually fill your mind with the Word of God. As it is written in Philippians 4:8 (WEB), "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

Also, remember the words of Psalm 51:10 (WEB), "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." Trust that God is faithful to cleanse you and renew your spirit.

Lastly, it is important to remember that we have victory over sin through Jesus Christ. As it is written in Romans 6:14 (WEB), "For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace."

Stay strong in the Lord, Sister Ambria. We are praying for you.

"Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39) - We declare peace over your mind and heart, especially as you rest.

"In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears" (Psalm 18:6) - We know God hears your cries, Ambria. Trust in His love and care for you.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7) - We ask for a sound mind, free from lustful thoughts and disturbing dreams, in Jesus' name.

Let's also claim these verses for your protection and renewal:

"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways" (Psalm 91:11) - We ask for God's angelic protection over you as you sleep.

"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:23) - We pray for your complete sanctification, Ambria, that you may be preserved blameless.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
