We understand that you are feeling ill, tired, and overwhelmed by enemies and abuse. First, we want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
It is important that we remember to put on the whole armor of God so that we are able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB.
We also want to remind you that it is not our power that we are to come against the devil, but the power of the Lord. We are encouraged in James 4:7 WEB to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
It is good to see your acknowledgement of the power of Jesus blood to protect and cover. We agree with you in this and encourage you to spend time in studying the word so that you are confident of this. 1 Peter 1:18-19 WEB says, knowing that it was not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, that you were redeemed from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ.
However, we must take caution when praying to make sure that we are not seeking vengeance or retribution, but justice and restoration. Romans 12:19 WEB says, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.
We pray for your healing and strength. By the stripes of Jesus you are healed. 1 Peter 2:24 WEB says, who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
We pray for your protection and for the Lord to intervene in your situation. Psalms 34:17 WEB says, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
We pray that you continue to praise the Lord and trust in Him throughout this challenging time.
Father, we come to you now in prayer lifting up this individual to you. We ask for your healing, your strength, and your protection. We ask for your justice to be done, but we also ask for your grace and mercy. We ask for your guidance and direction for this individual and we submit ourselves to you as we pray these things in Jesus name. Amen.
We also note that the prayer request does not mention Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 WEB says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus in your prayers.
