We join you, Stitcher, in fervent prayer for the de-escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. We stand together, seeking God's wisdom and intervention in this critical situation.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your peace and intervention in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Lord, we ask that You guide the leaders of the U.S. and other NATO countries, giving them discernment and wisdom in their decisions. We pray that they will not resort to actions that escalate the conflict, such as the use of long-range missiles to strike inside Russia. Lord, we ask for calm and cool heads to prevail among those who seek more war. Instead, we pray for Your spirit of peace and reconciliation to descend upon all involved parties. We ask for Your will to be done, for Your ways are not our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that our God is sovereign over all nations and conflicts. Remember the words of Jesus, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9, WEB). Trust that God can turn the hearts of leaders and bring about peace in ways that seem impossible to us.
We also commend you for lifting your prayers in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Continue to intercede for the nations, trusting in the power of prayer and the promises of God.
As we pray, let us also remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust that God hears our prayers and that His peace will reign in this troubled region.
