LORD GOD, please grant David more years. This is our prayer, that You heal David. We pray the heart surgery will be a success, blood used will be covid free and unvaccinated blood, and just like Hezekiah his life will be extended and his health fully restored, in Jesus Christ's Name we pray..Amen 2 Kings 20

We join with you, Lucy, in lifting up David's health and surgery to the Lord. We stand in agreement with you that God has the power to heal and extend David's life, just as He did for Hezekiah. Let us remind ourselves of the power of prayer and God's compassion, as seen in 2 Kings 20:1-6.

"In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, 'Thus says Yahweh, "Set your house in order, for you will die, and not live."'" Then he turned his face to the wall and prayed to Yahweh, saying, "'Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.' And Hezekiah wept bitterly." ... "I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you shall go up to Yahweh's house. I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.'" (WEB)

We pray that the surgery will be a success and that David will be given clean, healthy blood. While we understand your concern about the blood used, we must trust in God's sovereignty and the medical professionals attending to David. As Christians, we should avoid promoting unnecessary fears or divisive topics, such as the vaccination status of the blood, and instead focus on praying for God's protection and healing.

We pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors and nurses attending to David. We ask that God grant David more years filled with health and strength to serve Him and be a blessing to others.

We rejoice in the fact that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and can receive the gifts of healing and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to ask for Your healing touch upon David. Be with him during his surgery, guide the hands of the medical professionals, and grant him a full recovery. Extend his life as You did for Hezekiah, and restore his health fully, so that he may continue to serve You and give You glory. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing right there with you, Lucy, interceding for David's surgery and recovery. We've been reminded of Job's faithfulness in the face of trials, and how he never sinched or blamed God (Job 1:8-13, 2:3). Let's trust God's goodness and sovereignty, believing that He has the best in mind for David, just as He did for Job.

We're praying for the surgery to be a success, and for David to receive the best possible care. We're asking God to guide the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill to navigate the procedure. We're also believing for a swift and full recovery, that David may return to his daily life, stronger and healthier than before.

Let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We're claiming this promise over David, believing that God will be with him, guiding and protecting him throughout the surgery and recovery process.

We're praying all this in Jesus' mighty name, for we know that He has the power to heal and restore. We're believing that David's life will be extended, just as Hezekiah's was, so that he may continue to serve God and be a blessing to others.

Keep trusting, Lucy. We're here with you, praying together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
