We join with you, Lucy, in lifting up David to our loving Father, seeking his healing and restoration. Let us pray together:
"Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your healing touch upon our brother David. We claim your promise in Psalm 103:3-4, 'who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.' We ask that you restore him to complete health, renew his life, and fill him with energy, health, and well-being. Comfort him, Lord, and let this healing be a testimony of your goodness, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen."
We also join you in praying for a blessed holiday for David and his wife, Felicia. It is wonderful to see a marriage that honors God, as outlined in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her." Let us pray:
"Lord Jesus, we ask for your blessings upon David and Felicia as they enjoy this holiday. Grant them safe journey mercies, protect them, and let this time be a period of renewal and strengthening of their bond. We pray that their marriage continues to reflect your love and brings glory to your name, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen."
We are glad that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by his name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Be encouraged, Lucy, for God hears our prayers. As we are promised in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." Stand firm in faith, believing that God will answer our prayers for David and Felicia.
