Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is ill and weak. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, especially his stomach.
Please stop the diarrhea and restore his strength. We trust in Your Word that says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:14-16 WEB).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual strength and joy. May Your peace and joy fill his heart, and may he know that You are with him always. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Encourage him with the words of Psalm 41:3 (WEB), "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." And remind him of the promise that a Christian has hope beyond death, as written in John 11:25-26 (WEB), "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?'"
Continue to pray and trust in the Lord for his healing. If his condition worsens, do not hesitate to seek medical attention alongside your prayers. May God bless you and your family with strength and faith during this time.
