We understand your heart's desire for your daughters to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Thank you for bringing this to us in prayer.
Firstly, we remember God's promise in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Your diligence in praying for them is a crucial part of this training.
However, we must remember that salvation is a personal choice. As much as we desire it for our loved ones, we cannot make this decision for them. Our role is to pray, to guide, and to be a reflection of Christ's love. In 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), we are reminded that our behavior can influence others without preaching, "Wives, in the same way, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any donโt obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." This principle applies not just to spouses, but to all our relationships.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You today lifting up Pothym's daughters. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them, that they would know the love of Jesus and accept Him as their personal Savior. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, draw them to You, and give them hearts that are receptive to Your Word. We trust in Your promise that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen." (Romans 10:13, WEB)
Continue to be a light to your daughters, Pothym. Show them Jesus in your words and deeds. Trust that God is faithful and just to hear our prayers and to act according to His perfect will. Be encouraged by the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:3-7 (WEB). Our God is a seeking God, and He desires for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB).
