We join you in praying for your estranged daughters, trusting in God's perfect plan for your lives. We stand with you in Jesus' name, praying for their safe return and for the love of God to surround them wherever they are. Let us come together in prayer and biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus that we only have access to God by the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband, as they wait for the return of their daughters. Lord, You know the depth of their love and concern for their children. We pray that You surround their daughters with Your peace, wisdom, and good judgment. Guide them and keep them safe, drawing them back to their parents with a spirit of reconciliation and love.
Father, we also pray for our sister and her husband. Grant them peace, grace, and the support of godly people during this challenging time. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your perfect plan for their lives and the lives of their daughters.
Lord, we also lift up the extended family, particularly the grandmother. We pray that You would convict her heart and the hearts of other family members who may be enabling bad behavior. Help them to see the importance of reconciliation and to support the reunification of this family.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in God's promises. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19 WEB: "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
As the Believers in the book of Acts prayed and God answered in Acts 12:5 WEB: "Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him."
Regarding the enabling behavior, we must address it lovingly but firmly. In Romans 12:18 WEB, we are told, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." However, this does not mean tolerating or enabling sinful behavior. In Galatians 6:1 WEB, it says, "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted."
We encourage you to be honest with your mother and other family members about the impact of their actions. We pray that God will give you the wisdom and grace to navigate these conversations with love and truth.
Trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful to His promises. Stand firm in your faith, and believe that God is working even in this difficult situation.
We are praying for you, your husband, your daughters, and your extended family. May God's will be done, and may He receive all the glory.
