We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your daughter is facing with her mental health and school attendance. We want to lift her up in prayer and encourage you both in the truths of God's Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares deeply about your daughter's well-being. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. We pray that your daughter may know and experience this closeness from God, and that He will be her strength and refuge in this challenging time.
However, we want to gently bring to your attention that prayer is not a transaction where we can "prepay" for God's intervention. God's love and care are freely given to those who trust in Him, and He hears the prayers of those who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ. It's only in Jesus that we find access to God, for there is no other name given where we can find salvation Acts 4:12.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Gwenin's daughter to You. Lord, You know the struggles she is facing with her mental health and school attendance. We ask that You will be her strength and refuge in this time of need. Comfort her with Your presence, and remind her of Your unfailing love.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for Gwenin and her daughter as they navigate this situation. Guide them to the right resources and support, whether that be professional help, godly counsel, or a caring community of believers. We pray that You would bring healing and restoration to her daughter's mind and emotions, and that she would find joy and purpose in You.
We also pray that Gwenin and her daughter would both come to know You more deeply through this trial. If they have not already done so, we pray that they would put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek professional help for your daughter's mental health. There are many resources available, including Christian counselors who can provide support and guidance that align with biblical principles.
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to stay connected to a community of believers. God has given us one another for support, encouragement, and accountability. Don't try to face this alone. Reach out to your local church or a trusted Christian friend for help and prayer.
Trust in Him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8 WEB
