We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles with mental health and we are here to intercede in prayer. Let us remember that God cares deeply about our wellbeing, both physical and mental. He is always close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our ultimate healer. It is through Him that we find true peace and comfort. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also want to encourage seeking godly counsel and professional help if needed. There is no shame in needing support from others. Even the Apostle Paul had his companions and fellow workers to support him in his ministry and trials.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious daughter who is struggling with her mental health. Lord, You know her every thought, every fear, and every burden she carries. We ask that You wrap her in Your loving arms and grant her the peace that only You can give.
Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her deeply. Guide her to the right support, whether it be godly counselors, caring friends, or compassionate professionals who can assist her in her journey towards healing and restoration.
We pray for her faith to be strengthened, that she may find hope and comfort in Your Word. Remind her of Your unfailing love and presence, even in the darkest of times.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith strong and seek God continually. Trust in Him and lean on Him for strength. Remember that He is always with you, no matter what you are going through. As the psalmist says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
