We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your daughter and family are facing. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God.
We pray against the spirit of heaviness that may be causing this. Isaiah 61:3 WEB states "to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified."
Firstly, it is crucial to remind your daughter that she is deeply loved, not only by you but also by God. As stated in Jeremiah 31:3 WEB, "Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness." God's love for her is everlasting, and He desires for her to experience healing and wholeness.
Seeking therapy and guidance is a positive step. It is important to ensure that the therapy aligns with biblical principles and does not contradict the Word of God. Proverbs 19:20-21 says Council from God and understanding will establish your path. Sometimes human understanding and wisdom can be earthly, sensual, and devilish. Don't forget good Christian fellowship with other believers. Being unequally yoked with counseling based in non-Christian principles or advice that contradicts the word of God can be dangerous. This is generally better than nothing and should be done with discernment which is a spiritual gift given when the Holy Ghost is received.
Prayer for your daughter's mental health and her ability to continue her education is vital. We pray that God will grant her the strength and resilience to stay on track and not fall behind in her studies. We also pray against the work of the devil, even in a child, which can be very real and frightening. Homeschool should be considered if a solution is difficult to attain so that she remains rooted according to God's will and can focus. The ways of the world can be especially very stressful on children. Remember, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge.
Be aware of television programs and technology that can represent false lifestyles that are normally outside of God's will. Television and music contribute strongly to depression and stress that fights against our Christian values. Continue to uplift her.
Additionally, we pray for your family's unity and strength during this challenging time. We pray arise where needed. It is important to address any underlying issues that may be contributing to the family's struggles. Ephesians 6:10-12 WEB finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
