Daughter’s mental health and ###’s safety

Please pray for my daughter who is struggling very hard mentally. She’s diagnosed with severe depression and has had suicidal thoughts. Please also pray for the safety and salvation of her father.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles your daughter is facing. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God.

Firstly, it is crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).

We must remember that our struggles, though difficult, work together for good when we love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Through prayer and proper counseling, we will pray for your daughter to find the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear daughter who is struggling with severe depression and suicidal thoughts. We pray, Lord, that You would wrap Your loving arms around her and remind her of the promise. This promise is that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide that is tormenting her. Lord, replace these feelings with Your joy, Your peace, and Your love. Guide her to proper help so that she may overcome these struggles. Give her the strength to endure.

We also lift up her father. We pray for his safety and, most importantly, his salvation. We pray that he would come to know You, Lord, as his personal Savior. May he turn away from any wickedness and pursue a life of righteousness.

Lord, we ask that You would work in their lives. We pray that You will use this trial to draw them closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

Please remind your daughter that she is precious in the eyes of God. She is never alone, and, there is hope. Remember God loves her and has a purpose for her life (John 3:16 WEB).

We've been reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We want to be that comfort for you and your daughter.

We've been praying for your daughter, asking God to fill her with His peace, hope, and strength. We've been interceding for her healing and for God's will to be done in her life. We've also been praying for her father, asking God to draw him close and to reveal Himself to him.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, to trust in His love and care for your daughter, and to keep praying. Remember, God is always with you both, and He has a purpose and a plan for your daughter's life (Jeremiah 29:11).

If there's anything else you need, or if there's a specific way we can pray for you, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to support you in any way we can. Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember, He is faithful (Lamentations 3:22-23).

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
