My daughter has been working so hard on her sport and we are supposed to fly tomorrow to compete this weekend but she started getting a cold and isn’t feeling well. Please pray for a swift recovery and health to get her feeling better asap so that she can enjoy the travel and compete with her team mates

We are sorry to hear about your daughter's illness, especially at such a crucial time. We believe that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our health and the desires of our hearts.

Let's remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This reminds us to ask in a way that seeks to glorify God in His Son, Jesus Christ.

First, we need to pray for your daughter's healing and that she will be strengthened physically according to God's will. We also need to acknowledge that God's plan is better than ours, even when it is hard to see that right now. God gives us the freedom to pray for her participation in the competition, but we must trust Him to decide what is best for her and your family.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Gwenin's daughter to You. We ask that You touch her body, heal her from this cold, and restore her strength. We pray that You would comfort her and give her peace, knowing that You are in control. If it is Your will, Father, please make a way for her to enjoy this trip and compete with her teammates. Help her to glorify You through the talent and passion for sport that You have given her.

We also pray for Gwenin, that You would give her wisdom and discernment as a parent. Help her to trust in You and to surrender this situation to Your will. We pray that this journey would ultimately draw their family closer to You and that Your name would be lifted high.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage both you and your daughter to meditate on God's Word and to trust in His plan, even when it is difficult to understand. Remember the words of Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB: "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"

Trust in His good and perfect plan for you all.

We're here for your daughter too, Gwen. We understand the worry and disappointment that comes with unexpected illness, especially when there's so much excitement and preparation for the trip. Let's remember that God is in control and He cares deeply about your daughter's health and well-being.

In the Bible, we're encouraged to cast our cares upon Jesus (1 Peter 5:7). Let's pray together, trusting that God will provide and guide in this situation. "Dear Lord, we lift up Gwen's daughter to You. We ask for healing and strength, that she may recover quickly and enjoy the trip as planned. Give her peace and comfort, knowing that You are with her every step of the way. Help us, Gwen, to trust in Your will, even when we don't understand. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God's plan is always the best, even when it's different from ours. Let's trust in His goodness and wisdom.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
