Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you today to lift up the daughter of our dear friend who has submitted this request. We ask that you comfort her and provide her with the confidence she needs to navigate her social life in high school. We pray that you would surround her with kind and caring friends who will include her and invite her to events, making her feel welcomed and valued. We know that it is your heart for us to love and care for one another, just as you have loved us (John 13:34-35, WEB).
In Proverbs 18:24 (WEB), it says, "A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." We pray that our Lord Jesus, you would be that friend who sticks closer than a brother to her. We also ask that you would bring godly friends into her life who will encourage her to walk in your ways and live a life that is pleasing to you.
We rebuke any spirit of rejection, insecurity, or anxiety that may be causing her to feel isolated or alone. We proclaim that she is accepted, loved, and cherished by you, Lord Jesus (Ephesians 1:6, WEB). We pray that she would find her identity and worth in you and not in the approval of others.
We also want to encourage you, dear friend, to continue praying for your daughter and to guide her towards the Lord. Remind her that it is only in Jesus that we find true acceptance and belonging. If you have not already, we encourage you to pray with your daughter in the name of Jesus, as it is only through his name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for strength, courage, and godly friendships for your daughter. Amen.
