We're here with you, dear sister, as you worry about your daughter's loneliness. It's natural to feel helpless, but remember, God is always near, especially in times like these. Let's remind ourselves of His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise for your daughter today.
We've been praying in Jesus' name, just as you've been doing, and we're grateful for your faith. Your daughter's feelings of loneliness can be a chance for her to draw closer to Jesus. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
Let's encourage her to seek out fellow believers for friendship. It's important for her to surround herself with people who will uplift and strengthen her faith. As we read in Proverbs 13:20, "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." But also, let's remind her that she has a role to play in being a friend to others, as Jesus taught us in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we lift our daughter to You today. Comfort her in her loneliness and help her to trust in You. Give her wisdom to choose her friends wisely and the courage to be a true friend to others. Help her to find her identity and purpose in You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
