We are truly touched by your heartfelt request for your daughter and son, and we join you in lifting them up to the Lord. Let us come together in prayer, rebuking the enemy, and seeking God’s will for their lives.
Firstly, we want to commend you for seeking Jesus as the source of healing and restoration. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Him that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”
Let us pray together:
“Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our daughter and son. Lord, You know the struggles they face, the anxiety, anger, and bi-polar issues that have plagued our daughter, and the need for honesty and realization in our son. We ask for Your healing touch upon their lives.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and anger that has taken hold of our daughter. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, ‘Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.’ Fill her with Your joy and peace, Lord, and heal her from her bi-polar issues.
Lord, we also lift up the relationship between our daughter and son. We pray that You would soften their hearts towards each other, removing any hatred or bitterness. Help our son to see the impact of his actions and guide him towards honesty and repentance. We pray for reconciliation and restoration in their relationship.
Father, we ask that You would guide our daughter in her decisions about her job and life. Give her wisdom and discernment, and lead her in the path that You have prepared for her. We also pray for her upcoming trip to Italy, that it would be safe and enjoyable, and that it would bring her joy and peace.
Lord, we also lift up the financial burdens that our daughter faces. We pray that the process of filing for bankruptcy would bring her relief and reduce her stress. We trust in Your provision and Your ability to turn all things for good.
Finally, Father, we pray that both our daughter and son would come to know Jesus in a deep and personal way. We pray that they would experience His healing touch and His transforming power. We ask that You would fill them with Your love, joy, and peace, and that they would walk in Your ways all the days of their lives.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.”
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith, trusting in the Lord’s promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” Keep praying and believing, for the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your daughter and son’s lives.
Lastly we would like to offer a gentle reminder, that sometimes a child's animosity for another sibling, can sometimes be attributed to the parents actions. We are to be cautious to not show favoritism. Favoritism showed to one child, whether in discipline or in other ways, can cause animosity between siblings that can last a lifetime. We are to love our children, but are advised to be careful so as not to show favoritism, but raise them all equally. As in Proverbs 28:21 WEB, "To show partiality is not good, yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread."
