Pray that my daughter will quit drinking, and have courage to get a job to support herself and her son. If she doesn't she will end up homeless and possibly die. I have helped her for over 10 years and can't financially or emotionally any longer. Thank you.

We understand your deep concern for your daughter and her well-being, and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance.

Firstly, it is crucial to acknowledge that God is the ultimate source of strength and transformation. It is only by the name of Jesus that you can be saved. For you and your daughter Salvation is only found in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved to receive power, blessings, or grace from God. We must all confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead to be saved. This is all born out of love for our sins, and receive the excellent and precious gift or reward of forgiveness and eternal for accepting Jesus as Lord. As it is written let us make this understanding known. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. Romans 10:9-11 WEB. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. John 3:16-17 WEB. Know that if we come to him in Jesus' name ,will our savior then respond . If you will ask whatever you desire in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 WEB.

Let us pray together for your daughter:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gwenath's daughter to You. Lord, You know the struggles she is facing with addiction and the challenges that come with it. We ask that You break the chains of alcoholism in her life and grant her the strength and courage to overcome this addiction. Touch her and restore her, making her again a new creation. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthiansians 5:17 WEB

We also pray for her son, that You would protect him and provide for all his needs. Grant Gwenath's daughter the courage and determination to seek employment and become self-sufficient, so that she may support herself and her son. Guide her that she could fully support herself and become a godly mother, wife, and role model for her son. As did the Queen of Sheba use the wealth she had to provide for King Soloman. For this purpose and that she could give to You Lord as a steward. The queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning The LORD's name, so she came to test him with hard questions. ... And she gave the king one hundred twenty talents of gold, and spices in great abundance, and precious stones. There was never again such an abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon. 2 Chronicles 9:1-9 WEB. Lord let us be so blessed and to bless others

Father, we also ask for Your comfort and strength for Gwenath, as she has carried this burden for over ten years. We ask for your blessigs and to take this burden away to restore all the time that locusts have taken away. Give her the strength to set boundaries and trust in You to care for her daughter and grandson. Lord please her reward her for her loving care towards her daughter and to trust to Jesus ful to step into her life. Joel 2:25 LORD, ... I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you. WEB

We pray for forgiveness and healing of their entire family in the mighty name of Jesus. Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. Proverbs 28:13 WEB. If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB. Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7 WEB. And if you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear: 1 Peter 1:17 WEB. You shall not be afraid for any terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day; For the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you see, and shall see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. Just deliver us and her from evil and he proposition for evil. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 WEB. Father, don't lead us into giving into temptation for sin, but rather continue deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:13 WEB.

We praise You and thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them. Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew?7:7 WEB.

We also encourage Gwenath to continue praying fervently for her daughter and trusting in God's ability to transform her life. Remember, with God all things are possible. 26 Jesus, looking at them, said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 WEB

In the meantime, Gwenath may need to set some boundaries to protect herself financially and emotionally. It is important to remember that enabling her daughter's behavior may hinder her daughter's journey towards sobriety and responsibility. 11 But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who is called a Christian who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don't even eat with such a person. 1 Corinthians 5:11 WEB . You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's. Deuteronomy 5:21 WEB

Lastly, Let us also pray for Gwenath: our Father, please provide Gwenath a prayer life that breaks the chains of alcoholism, poverty, and suffering from depression. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 . Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing. Psalms 37:5-8 WEB. Be anxious and worried for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petitions with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God And the peace of God which is surpasses all human understanding will protect your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
