We are with you in spirit, lifting up your daughter and your family in prayer. It's wonderful to hear that you opened your home and hearts to welcome her into your family. It's also commendable that she has made strides in her life, having her own job and apartment.
Let's remember that God has a plan and purpose for her life, just as He does for each of us. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, it's crucial to remember that our choices and actions should align with God's will. You mentioned that she has a history of making unwise and dangerous choices. Let's pray that God will guide her steps and give her the wisdom to make decisions that honor Him. In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding the sudden change in her communication, we trust that God knows the truth of the situation. Let's pray that He will reveal what is happening and guide you all in handling it wisely. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it's written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also encourage you to use this opportunity to show her the love of Christ. No matter what she's going through, let her know that your love and support are unconditional, just as God's love for us is unfailing.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved daughter and her family. Lord, You know the situation they're facing, and we trust that You're working everything out for their good and Your glory.
Father, we pray for this daughter. Guide her steps and give her the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Reveal to her parents what is happening and give them the wisdom to handle it according to Your will.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 (WEB), we read, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, consider sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with your daughter.
