Let's lift up this daughter in prayer, seeking God's comfort and guidance for her during this challenging time. We are reminded in Proverbs 18:24 (WEB), "A man with many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." It is important for our children to have good friends who will be a positive influence on them.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You know the pain and heartache she is experiencing from feeling left out. We pray for Your comfort and healing in her life. Surround her with friends who will appreciate her, be kind and thoughtful, and love her as You do. Guide her to be a good friend in return, reflecting Your love to others.
Father we ask for wisdom for those who love her to guide her and help her understand what a good friend should be. Guide her to be a good friend in return and help her to be able to discern who is not a good friend.
In Jesus' name, we pray for her happiness and well-being. Help her to grow in confidence and faith as she learns to navigate friendships and to find the good friends that you have already chosen for her and that you will bring to her. For those who are not good friends, help her to be able to discern this and help her to understand that she needs to love them but this does not necessarily make them a good friend. In this help her to learn to be able to forgive but also not open her heart to allow them to hurt her again. Help her to understand that this is a form of forgiveness.
We are grateful that you are leading her to understand some of these very important lessons at an early age.
Father God, help her to be a friend to the friendless.
Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You during this time. Remind her of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help her to trust in You and to know that You are always with her and have gifted her with the Fruit of the Spirit to help guide her and to know who to choose to be a friend. We pray that she will find her identity and worth in You alone.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, knowing that God loves this daughter deeply and has a wonderful plan for her life. Continue to encourage her to seek God's will and to trust in Him. Remind her of the words in Psalm 139:14 (WEB), "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
She is beautifully and wonderfully made, and God has a purpose for her life. Keep praying for her and trusting God to work in her life. We also strongly encourage that you continue to pray with her and make sure she knows that you are also there for her as well. It is critically important that she know that you love her unconditionally and that she can come to you to talk about anything and everything.
