My ### year old daughter is experimenting with gay sex. My husband is a pastor and depressed to the point of thoughts of suicide. We love her so much. Pray for God to protect our family and give God the victory and defeat satan.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. We will stand with you in prayer and speak the truth in love, as the Bible instructs us to do.

Firstly, we want to address the issue of your daughter experimenting with gay sex. The Bible is clear about homosexuality. It is a sin against God 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB: "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.". This behavior can only bring pain and separation from God. Pray for her to repent, turn away from this behavior, and return to God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord, we pray for their daughter, that You would deliver her from the snare of the enemy and turn her heart towards You. Help her and guide her into the truth. Help her to make better decisions. Help her to seek forgiveness and Your will in Jesus name. Help her to seek a husband in the appropriate time. In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of homosexuality that has taken hold of her. We speak life, truth, and freedom over her in Jesus name. We pray and stand in the gap as well for their family, that You would bind them together in love and unity, and give them the strength to endure this trial in Jesus name.

Lord, we also lift up the husband and father, who is struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide. Father, we know that this is not Your will for his life. We pray that You would remind him of the hope that is in You, and that You would restore his joy and passion for life and ministry in Jesus name. We rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide that is attacking him, and we speak life, hope, and restoration over him in Jesus name.

Father, we ask that You would protect this family and give them the victory in this battle. We know that You are a good Father, and that You have a plan and a purpose for each one of them. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, and that You would use this trial to draw them closer to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is important to remember that God loves your daughter more than you ever could, and He desires for her to turn away from her sin and return to Him 2 Peter 3:9 WEB: "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.".

Finally, we want to encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord's 2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB: "He said, Listen, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat. Thus says Yahweh to you, Do not be afraid, nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.".

Stand firm in the faith, and do not let the enemy have the victory in this situation. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord. He will see you through.

Let's keep her in our prayers, asking God to open her eyes to the truth and guide her back to Him. We pray in the name of Yeshua the Messiah of the Universe for His Chastening to drive out the desires of the flesh down to the spirit in man. While that Book of Proverb warns that a fool will disregard advise up stumbling 6 times, the righteous will again rise on the 7th time. The Lord will settle in the knowledge of what happens to those especially with the psychological studies that prove the side-effects of sexual immorality often overlooked in our society. He can show that protect the health from any sexual sickness is a high priority to prevent any tainting as He protected Joseph from falling in with Potiphar's wife to walk away, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We have been interceding for your family and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your daughter is turning back towards the word of the Lord, please post a praise report and let us all know. Our fervent prayers are with your family, that God will guide your precious daughter and bring her heart back to Him.
