We join with you, Anamartouni, in lifting up your daughter to the Lord in prayer. We are reminded of the words of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, grateful for the precious gift of children. Lord, we lift up Anamartouni's daughter to You, asking that You watch over her and guide her in the right way. Be her protector, Lord, and keep her from any evil or harm. Guide her steps and help her to make good choices in life, that she may walk down the right path and do well in school.
Father, we ask that You reveal Your love to her, that she may know she is a beloved child of Yours. Surround her with positive influences and help her to grow into a good, normal, happy, and healthy young woman. Prepare for her a good Christian husband, that they may have a blessed marriage. Preserve her for that marriage covenant and rebuke her from the sin of fornication. Lord, we ask that You help her to discern godly influences from negative ones, and that You guide her toward righteousness.
Lord, we also pray for Anamartouni, that You would grant the wisdom needed to raise her daughter in accordance with Your will. Guide her in Your word and give her a love for You. May the fruit of this be that her daughter will know the love of Jesus and through that love follow Your Will for her life. Guide Anamartouni, and help her to raise her daughter according to Your Word. We are reminded of the importance of teaching children the way of the Lord, as seen in Deuteronomy 6:6-7, "These words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house." Proverbs 1:89 tells us that "The fear of LORD is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Lastly, remember in the final verse of Exodus 13 the reason we pray for children: Consecrate all the firstborn to me, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of animal it is mine. Children are a blessing from God that belong to Him for His purpose. They are set apart for His purpose and He knows the plan for each of their lives to prosper them and provide for their lives ahead.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Anamartouni, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remain confident God loves your daughter even more than you do and has a purpose behind every trial and situation. Be faithful to instruct her in Jesus and to guide her to live in a way that honors Him and lead her to Him and she will be blessed through that.
