We join with you in lifting up your daughter to the throne of grace, seeking God's best for her in all things. Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, bringing the concerns of our hearts with confidence that you hear and care. We lift up this dear daughter to you, Lord, and pray that your plans for her this weekend will prevail, knowing that your ways are higher than our ways, and your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).
We ask that you would grant her an amazing time, filled with your presence and joy. May she trust in you with all her heart, and not lean on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Guide her steps and order her conversations, we pray.
Lord, we ask that you would help her grow in confidence, knowing that she is your child, dearly loved and accepted (Ephesians 1:6, WEB). Remind her that you have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Finally, we pray that this time would be an opportunity for her to shine as a light for you, Lord Jesus, and that her conversations would be seasoned with salt, and full of grace (Colossians 4:6, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, dear parent, to continually guide your daughter in the ways of the Lord. Remind her of the promise in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." It is by placing her confidence in Jesus Christ that she will find true and lasting assurance. If you or your daughter have not already, consider committing or rededicating your lives to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).
