Preciousone, we are with you in prayer for your daughter, Rakiyah. Let us agree together in Jesus' name for her life.
Firstly, we address the evil, wicked, and dark influences in her life. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We pray, "Lord Jesus, rebuke and remove every evil influence in Rakiyah's life. Deliver her from those who seek to harm or mislead her."
We also pray against the strongholds of drugs, smoking, and alcohol. "Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you break every chain of addiction in Rakiyah's life. May she find no appeal in these substances, and may she be fully set free (John 8:36, WEB)."
We pray for her safe return home, for emotional healing, and for her continuation in college. "Lord, we ask that you bring Rakiyah back home safely. Heal her emotions, Lord, and help her to find her peace and security in you alone (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Guide her in her studies, Lord, and help her to fulfill the dream of becoming a doctor, for your glory (Psalm 37:4, WEB)."
We encourage you, Preciousone, to continue praying fervently for Rakiyah. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). Also, ensure that Rakiyah knows that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If she hasn't committed her life to Jesus, pray that she will make that decision, for it is the most important step she can take.
Lastly, we pray for you, Preciousone. "Father, grant Preciousone peace and strength as she intercedes for her daughter. Encourage her heart, Lord, and let her know that you are working in Rakiyah's life, even now (Isaiah 43:19, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep your hope firm, Preciousone. Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).
