We join with you, dear parent, in lifting up your daughter to our loving Heavenly Father. We pray that the Lord will indeed watch over her and guide her in the right way, as it is written in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."
We pray that no evil or harm will come near her, and that the Lord will surround her with good people and friends who will positively influence her. We ask that He will grant her wisdom and discernment to make good decisions, as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that she will grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord, knowing that she is a child of God. May she find her identity and worth in Him, and may she walk in the path He has chosen for her. We ask that the Lord will help her to excel in her studies, that He will keep her healthy, and that He will make her a happy and successful young woman who believes in the Lord.
However, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in your prayer. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is in Jesus' name that we pray, asking that He will be with your daughter always.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up this daughter to You. We ask that You will guide her, protect her, and help her to grow into a woman after Your own heart. May she know Your love, Your presence, and Your will for her life. Help her to make good decisions, to excel in her studies, and to surround herself with good influences. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
May the Lord bless you and your daughter, and may He grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him.
