We join you, Cupcake05, in praying for your daughter, Skyla. Let us come together in Jesus' name and lift her up before the Lord.
Firstly, we acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up Skyla. We ask, Lord, that You would watch over her and guide her in the right way. Be her protector, and let no evil come near her. Give her the wisdom and discernment to make good choices and walk down the right path. Help her to know and experience Your deep love for her, Lord.
We pray for her academic pursuits, that she would do well in school. Surround her with friends who are good influences, who will encourage her in righteousness and help her grow in Your ways. Let her grow up to be a wonderful, normal, healthy, and happy young lady who lives in Your love and follows Your will.
Lord, we also pray for her future relationships. May she be guided by Your principles and seek a godly spouse who will honor and cherish her as You intend. Let her courtship be a reflection of Your love and a preparation for a lifelong commitment in marriage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for Skyla and to teach her the ways of the Lord. As Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May your home be a place where she learns to love and follow Jesus.
Lastly, we remind you of the importance of teaching Skyla about the sanctity of marriage and the biblical principles of relationships. Encourage her to pursue friendships and courtships that align with God's will and to remain pure and holy in her conduct. As 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 (WEB) tells us, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you should know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God."
