We understand your concern for your daughter and the situation she is in. Firstly, let's remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). It's crucial to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
However, we must address that your daughter is in a relationship that may not align with biblical principles. The relationship seems to involve a man who already has children with possibly another woman or women. Depending on his marital status, this could be a form of adultery if he is still married. If not, it is still concerning that he is courting your daughter and the possibility of her becoming a stepmother before marriage. It is important for relationships to be built on strong biblical foundations and courting should have the intent of marriage. As it stands this relationship does not seem to be heading in that direction. If they are not married, this is considered fornication, which is sinful (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Furthermore, any relationships should be with the goal of a godly marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Moreover, we must not forget that it is only in Jesus Christ we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our daughter and this situation. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her life and for Your guidance and protection upon her. If this relationship is not Your will, we pray that You would bring it to an end and bring a godly man into her life, a man who loves and serves You wholeheartedly, who is not bound by prior commitments or children, and aligns with Your principles for marriage.
We also pray for the man involved, that You would convict his heart and bring him to a place of repentance if necessary. We pray for his daughters, that they would be protected and cared for in this situation.
Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your ways. We ask for Your peace and comfort for the parents, and wisdom to guide our daughter through this. Give us the strength to endure and to trust in You.
We pray that our daughter is not partaking in any sexual relationship at all with this man. If so, help her to flee from this sin and remind her of your commandments.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.
