Dear Lord,
Please bless A + M with spiritual awakening. Both learned about you in their youth, but are currently away from you. Please send others from whom they will welcome the gospel + rotate them out of this spiritual eclipse, asap. Bring them into the light! May they reject all false teachings + dangerous ideologies.
Our nation appears to be under judgment. We once confessed you as savior + Lord, but now our culture welcomes unrighteousness + condemns righteousness. Please enlighten their eyes so they can see the truth. Unstop their spiritual ears so they hear your voice, recognize it, + welcome it. We must all be willing to deny ourselves to follow Christ, so I pray they will as well. Open their minds + hearts to receive, welcome + understand your word + your Spirit. May nothing get in the way of them following you. Straighten out any crooked or perverse thinking on their parts, as well as that of their peers.
In many ways, it seems that our nation is too far gone to come back from its rejection of you. Thankfully, you always preserve a faithful remnant. May A + M be part of that remnant before Jesus returns to judge us all.
There is a lot of crime in our city. Protect us from being robbed, burgled, assaulted, vandalized, carjacked, or worse. May we not suffer home invasions or lose our homes or places to live. Give us good neighbors. Protect us from dog attacks or any kind of violence, incl. medical violence or mandates that violate our consciences.
Give us courage + opportunities to tell others about you. Fill our hearts with love for you + our fellow man. Strengthen our churches + inspire them to reject false teachings. I know you will preserve the truth in some churches.
Protect their health, for reasons we've talked about. Add many, many layers of protection to their cells, so their DNA will not be changed or damaged.
Give them jobs that are best for them spiritually. Draw them away from adverse or demonic influences, whenever they are exposed to them. Send many Christians into their lives. May they choose you over the world + over their own preferences or ideologies.
May I never witness anything bad happen to them.
