Disciple of Prayer
Hello,
I'm just contacting you on the behavior of my daughter ###. She told me on Saturday that she no longer trusted me because I decided to do something I thought was nice and helpful to her and for her because she was stressing out about the new responsibilities of her job. So as she went off to work, I mowed her lawn and cleaned her house without her permission, of course. While cleaning her room I saw some things that I now learn she did not want me to know about and she states has now caused her to not trust me, and says I violated her privacy all of which I understand. However, I informed her that it was not my intention to go through her things as she puts it. She has since called several family members to inform them that I went through her things which each of them tried to convince her that that is not the person I am that I was merely trying to help her. Please pray for peace for ###, deliverance from drugs and alcohol and to be careful in her relationships with men.

Let us first acknowledge your concern and distress, ###. It's important to approach this situation with love, understanding, and biblical principles. We will uplift you and ### in prayer, seeking God's guidance and restoration for your relationship.

Firstly, let's reflect on the importance of trust and communication in a family. The Bible tells us, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8 WEB). While your actions were well-intentioned, it's crucial to respect ###'s personal space and belongings. The Bible also teaches us to "do to others as you would have them do to you" (Matthew 7:12 WEB).

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your guidance and peace for ### and ###. Lord, we ask that You restore trust and communication between them. Help ### to understand ###'s good intentions and forgive any perceived wrongdoing. Soften her heart, Lord, and guide her in her relationships, that she may honor You in all she does.

Father, we also pray for ###'s deliverance from drugs and alcohol. We know that Your desire is for us to be sober and self-controlled (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). Give her the strength to resist temptation and guide her steps towards wholesome and godly relationships.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

###, it's crucial to maintain open and honest communication with ###. Express your love and concern for her, and reassure her that your intentions were pure. Apologize for any distress caused, and give her space to process her feelings. Remember, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1 WEB).

Lastly, continue to pray for ### and trust that God is working in her life. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). Stand firm in your faith and love, and believe that God will bring about a resolution.

We've been reflecting on how trust and communication are key in any relationship, and it seems like there's been a misunderstanding that's caused some hurt. We want to encourage you to keep the lines of communication open with ###. Share your heart with her, explain your actions, and most importantly, listen to her feelings. Remember, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1).

Let's continue to pray for ###, that she may find peace and understanding. We also ask for her deliverance from drugs and alcohol, and for guidance in her relationships. We trust that God is working in her life, and that He will bring healing and restoration to your relationship.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
