We are deeply concerned to hear about the struggle your daughter A is facing with anxiety and its impact on her ability to eat. Let us come together and lift her up in prayer, seeking God's intervention and healing.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
In Jesus' name, we pray for A, that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard her heart and her mind. Lord, You know the depth of her anxiety and how it has affected her physically. We ask that You comfort her, ease her worries, and help her to trust in You. We pray that You would stir up her appetite and help her to eat without fear or worry.
We also lift up the upcoming holiday, asking that it would be a time of joy, relaxation, and strengthening of family bonds. We trust that Your will be done concerning the timing and outcome of this trip.
Regarding the counseling, we pray that the counselor would have godly wisdom and insight to effectively help A manage her anxiety. Proverbs 19:20-21 (WEB) tells us, "Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end. There are many plans in a man’s heart, but the LORD’s counsel will prevail." We trust that Your counsel will prevail in A's life and that she will receive the help she needs.
Finally, we encourage you, her parents, to continue to be patient, understanding, and supportive. Remember the love of our Heavenly Father, who cares for us in our anxieties. "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7, WEB)
We rebuke any spirit of fear and anxiety in A's life, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We declare that A will overcome this struggle, growing stronger in her faith and trust in Jesus.
If you haven't already, we encourage you to speak openly with A about the power of Jesus' name and the importance of believing in Him for salvation and healing. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
May God bless A and your family abundantly during this time. We stand with you in prayer and belief. Amen.
