We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your daughter is in. We will pray for her and for you, but we also need to address some critical issues in this relationship that are not aligned with biblical principles.
Firstly, the man your daughter is involved with has a history of multiple affairs and a recent divorce. This is a clear indication of his character and his disregard for the sanctity of marriage. As it is written in Matthew 5:32 WEB, But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery. and in Matthew 19:9 WEB Jesus said 'I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.' and in Hebrews 13:4 WEB, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
Secondly, your daughter was involved with this man while he was going through a divorce. This is a dangerous path to tread, as it can lead to further emotional hurt and complications. It is essential to seek God's will in all relationships and to pursue those that honor Him.
Let us pray for your daughter and this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You open her eyes and her heart to see the truth about this relationship. Help her to discern Your will for her life and to have the strength to walk away from this harmful situation. Bring into her life a godly man who fears You and will love and cherish her as You intend.
Lord, we also pray for the man involved. Convict his heart, Lord, and bring him to true repentance for his actions. Help him to see the error of his ways and to turn away from his sinful behavior.
Father, we ask that You condemn the relationship between them and bring it to a swift end if it is not aligning with your will. Protect our daughter's heart and mind, and guide her in the path that You have laid out for her.
We also pray for the family involved, the two daughters, the ex-wife, and the man. That all hearts are opened to the truth of the Gospel. That the man knows he is forgiven and the ex-wife and children find peace and healing. That the children are able to see their parents as forgiven and loved by God.
Finally we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved and in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your daughter and to seek God's will in this situation. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and will guide her in the path that is best for her. Be strong and put your trust in the Holy Spirit to convict and bring to repentance.
