We understand the deep concern and worry that Gary Davis is experiencing due to the absence of his daughter, Lacy Davis, especially with Christmas approaching. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God for comfort, guidance, and hope. Let us pray together and seek God's will in this situation.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Gary Davis and his daughter Lacy to You. Lord, You know the pain and worry that Gary is experiencing. You know where Lacy is, and we trust that You are with her, even now. We ask, Lord, that You would bring Lacy home safely to her family. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would provide Gary and his family with Your peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In the midst of this trial, we encourage Gary to hold onto God's promises. The Bible tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB).
We also want to remind Gary of the power of prayer. Jesus said, "Again, I tell you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB).
Lastly, we want to gently remind Gary, and all who may be reading, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It's not just a phrase to end a prayer, but a belief that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life.
