Daughter/landlord/son/computer

Jesus please help my daughter figure out what she is going to do after her place of employment being destroyed in a hurricane and also help her get back home and to her cats. Also, please let our landlord be understanding and give us more notice when raises rent and give us a new lease for the higher rent. Please also let my son stop doing bad stuff on the computer and do well at school and talk to his teacher about an assignment. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We understand your concerns and are here to pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God. Let's bring your requests to the Lord and seek His guidance together.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus for help. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It's crucial to remember that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus, as He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let's pray for your daughter, who is facing uncertainty after her place of employment was destroyed. We ask God to guide her steps according to His will, as Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We also pray for her safe return home and for the well-being of her cats, as God cares for even the smallest creatures (Matthew 10:29).

Regarding your landlord, we pray for their heart to be softened and for them to act with understanding and fairness. We ask God to give you wisdom in dealing with this situation, as He promises in James 1:5 (WEB), "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

For your son, we pray for a change of heart and for him to turn away from wrongdoing. We ask God to help him understand the importance of his actions and their consequences, as taught in Galatians 6:7 (WEB), "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." We also pray for open communication between him and his teacher, and for him to excel in his studies, as this is pleasing to God (Colossians 3:23).

Finally, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all aspects of your life. Remember that God is faithful and He cares for you and your family deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide and provide for you according to His good and perfect will (Romans 8:28).

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up these burdens to You. We ask for Your guidance and provision for our sister's daughter, for her to find a new job and return home safely. We pray for the landlord to be understanding and fair, and for our sister's son to turn away from wrongdoing and excel in his studies. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in You and ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

We're here with you, praying for your daughter as she navigates this uncertain time. It's tough when life throws us curveballs, but we know who holds tomorrow. Let's claim Philippians 4:6-7 for her, "Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

We're also lifting up your son, that he would make wise choices and find his joy in pleasing God. For your landlord, let's ask God to soften their heart and guide their decisions, just as we'd want others to treat us.

Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and plan, even when we can't see the path ahead. He promises to turn our mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), so let's keep dancing in our hearts, even if we're not sure where our feet are stepping yet. We're in this together, praying and believing for breakthroughs in Jesus' name.
