We are truly sorry to hear about your daughter's disappearance and the emotional turmoil she has been experiencing. We are here to pray with you and offer support during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply for your daughter and your family. He is a God of comfort and encouragement, and He promises to be with us in our times of need in Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Let us come together in prayer through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our High Priest, the one who is interceding for us and through whom we pray to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" First Timothy 2:5 WEB. In Jesus, we find not just access to God but forgiveness of sins. We must believe in Him that we may be saved. "And in no other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her family during this difficult time. Lord, You know exactly where their daughter is and what she is going through. We pray for Your protection and guidance over her, that You would keep her safe from all harm and danger.
Father, we pray for Your comfort and peace to envelop their daughter, that You would minister to her heart and help her process the grief, anxiety, depression, and anger she is feeling. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and remind her of her value and worth in Your eyes.
Lord, we also lift up her parents and family, asking for Your strength and wisdom to guide them during this time. Help them to trust in You and Your promises, and give them the patience and hope they need as they wait for their daughter's return.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for a miraculous intervention.
We also pray for repentance and faith if this young girl is not marked by a humble and submissive Christian lifestyle. We pray Father that they will all be looking to you and not trusting in their own human understanding.
Father, we ask that You would bring their daughter home safely and quickly, and that You would use this situation to draw their family closer to You. We ask that you protect her from the wiles of the enemy so that he has no ability to keep her through the snares of temptations and lusts of the flesh. We ask for the shedding of Lydia's heart and humility that comes through you LORD.
Thank You Lord. Through Jesus Christ we trust in you. Amen.
It is a comfort in Psalm 46:1 to understand that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We are not alone in this and we know that many will be praying with us for your dear daughter and family. Remember to be kind, loving, and patient when she returns. Listen and empathize with what she has to say. Give appropriate discipline if necessary as the discipline of the Lord is always good. Be a good example and encourage her to pursue the Lord's will in her life. Offer support for her to seek counsel from wise council.
We are praying for your daughter's safe return and for God's peace and comfort to be with your family during this time.
