We understand your heart's desire for your daughter to find a lifelong companion. Let's bring this before God together, seeking His will for her life.
Firstly, we pray that your daughter seeks God's kingdom and righteousness first, as Matthew 6:33 tells us, "But seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As she prioritizes her relationship with God, He will guide her to the right person at the right time.
We pray that she will find a godly spouse, as you've hoped for. Proverbs 18:22 says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." While this verse is directed towards men, the principle applies to women as well. A good spouse is a gift from God, and we pray that He will bless her with a man who loves and fears God.
However, we want to gently remind you that the term "partner" often carries secular connotations. In the Bible, God's design for relationships is clear: a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman in holy matrimony. We encourage you and your daughter to embrace this biblical perspective, trusting in God's plan for relationships.
We also want to ensure that the desire for children is aligned with God's will. Psalm 127:3 tells us, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is a reward." We pray that if it's God's will, He will bless their union with children.
