We are truly saddened to hear about the strained relationship between you and your daughter, Vorkia. We will pray with you and offer guidance based on the principles of God's Word.
Firstly, we want to address the feelings of despair and hopelessness you're experiencing. Taking your own life is not the solution, and it's important to remember that your life is precious in God's sight. As it is written in Psalm 139:14 WEB, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Suicide is not God's will for your life, and we urge you to seek help from mental health professionals to deal with these feelings.
Regarding your relationship with your daughter, it's encouraging that you both have started counseling and are attempting to reconnect. Healing and forgiveness take time, and it's crucial to be patient and persistent in love. Remember, the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you."
While your daughter's anger and disrespect may be hurting you, try to understand that she might also be processing her own pain. Continue to show her love and care, even if it's not reciprocated immediately. Pray for her, that her heart would be softened and that she would find it in herself to forgive you. As it is written in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
In your prayer request, we didn't notice any mention of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to pray in His name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Vorkia and her daughter. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon their relationship. Soften their hearts, and help them to find forgiveness and reconciliation. Give Vorkia the strength to endure this difficult time, and help her to see her worth in Your eyes. Guide her daughter, that she may find it in her heart to forgive and to show care and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we strongly advise you to seek professional help for your mental health struggles and to continue counseling with your daughter. Trust in God's timing, and remain steadfast in your love and care for her.
