Daughter and wedding

Please pray for my daughter’s upcoming wedding which is this Saturday. And for me, my husband and her brother to have have peace with her decisions and trust God. She’s getting married an 1.5 hours away… we don’t know her fiancé that well, brother only met him for 5 min. and she’s moving to Texas after the wedding. We’ve seen some red flags that have caused us to think he may be controlling and not taking our daughter’s feelings into consideration as he should. We were hoping to spend time with her fiancé this week before the wedding and they head off, but she wants to just stay with his family for most of the week and he has made little effort to spend anytime with us at all. We do believe his mom is the one trying to control his time on that end. Although we understand they have other things taking place, it’s hard not to feel very hurt and although we’re not trying to take it personally, it’s hard not to. Pray that plans will allow some time to be spent with us and any red flags or issues will be exposed to her before the wedding and she would pay attention.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
