DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW HAVE LOST THEIR FAITH IN GOD Dear Lord, Thank you for the frank discussion I had with A today. Tragically, she + M seem to have lost their faith. I knew that M never had much but I tho’t A still believed. I did not know she has been struggling with this issue for years. I can hardly believe it, + wonder how it happened. She recognizes that “something” had to be involved in the diversity + complexity of creation. She has no confidence that Jesus is our savior. She doesn’t understand how we can be certain of biblical inerrancy, since so many men handled the Scriptures over so many years. She doesn’t understand why biblical law denounces certain lifestyles, + apparently is pro-choice. They don’t realize that dreadful eternal torment is real, + abandoning the faith results in it. Please pull them to you like a magnet! I can hardly bear the thought of losing them eternally! There’s still hope, so please, save them! Keep putting people in their path whose faith shines forth so brightly it will attract them. Stir their hearts to seek you diligently + earnestly. Let no harm befall them. Spiritual harm is what I ask you protect them from at all costs, but I pray for a hedge of protection around them as well, to stand against physical, mental, emotional, etc. harm. Protect their safety, security, finances, reputations, credit, livelihood, etc. Give them a mind + heart that yearns for your truth! May they not rely on the world's teachings or their own wisdom in seeking truth. And may they take responsibility to seek you, read your word avidly + pray to you, not to the ether. Thank you for what you are doing in their lives. In your name, amen.

Bless each of us to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Heal us Lord Jesus in every area of our lives. Make us whole in You. Help us all to keep our focus on You, trust You, walk in the faith, love, peace, security, wisdom, and joy of Your Word. May we greet each day with a heart of thanksgiving, praise, and gratitude unto You for who You are, all You have done, and will do in our lives. Help us, show us how, and bless each of us with knowledge, wisdom, and a strong persistent desire to fulfill our God's purpose (the reason why You created us of us). And God please encamp Your angels all around us to protect us all from all sicknesses, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of our enemies, and the plans of the enemy of our souls. Dear Lord,

You promise to pursue your lost sheep. I know you are pursuing A + M. Stir your Holy Spirit to open their hearts + spiritual eyes so they will start seeing signs of you everywhere-in your creation, in the miracles of daily life that we too often dismiss as odd occurrences or coincidences, etc. May evidence of you pop up everywhere they look, not just in your creation. May they realize it is irrefutable that you are Lord.

Put more people in their lives who shine your light. May more people witness to them of their faith + may they be receptive. They need to hear + learn your word; it’s critical. May A decide to return to church with me. I’d even go to another Christian church with her if it taught the truth, but she doesn’t seem to have the interest now; nor does M. She talked about going occasionally with me to spend time with me, but this whole Covid thing has made her afraid. If she could just hear your gospel + if the pastor could say some things that really resonate with her spirit, it could start something. I pray she + M will be motivated to search for you +/or read apologetics books, or even books like Lee Stroebel’s The Case for Christ. He was a staunch atheist till he did a 3-year long investigation + found so much proof that you are who you say you are, that he was stunned.

This is a spiritual battle + demonic forces are battling for their souls. May your angels defy these deceiving spirits at every turn, + may A + M fight back too. If they knew the Bible, they could compare it to what seems right to them, + remember Proverbs 14:12: "There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death."

When A was little + my mom got all those Bible story books + read them to her, I tho’t that was great. That's just who Mom was. Mom told me she couldn’t bear it if A didn’t know about God. Neither can I! V hid those books + I couldn’t find them for months. If I remember correctly, he said he didn’t know where they were. I finally found them on top of a very tall piece of furniture. All I could think of was the Bible verse where Jesus says, “But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Also, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” So now, after A told me they might not baptize a child if they have one, I think of these verses again. It’s so heartbreaking!
